Welcome to our first post on our new website!

Hi supporters of Australian Seabird Rescue! My name is Kath and I am the General Manager of Australian Seabird Rescue and the Ballina Byron Sea Turtle Hospital. I am really excited about our new website!

As of 30th January 2018, we have ten sea turtles in care. We have the largest Hawksbill turtle we have ever rescued, her name is Dolly. At the moment Dolly is eating more than 3 kgs of fresh seafood per day! She is still on antibiotics and is doing fine. The volunteers are very excited, they have all worked so hard to nurse her back to health. more »
